Stamford bank seeks Compliance Officer

Primary responsibilities include: (click here for full details)

Monitoring: Regular reviews of client files to ensure compliance with USA Patriot Act/Bank Secrecy Act customer identification requirements; coordinate account transaction monitoring activities; review of exception reports.

Regulatory Filings: File annual renewals for Branch and Rep Offices. Prepare and file various Fed reports: SARs; FR Y-10; Y-7n and FBAR

Regulatory relations: Manage examinations and regulatory inquiries

OFAC: Manage OFAC compliance

Policies and Procedures Manuals: Maintain and update Branch compliance manuals as needed (Code of Conduct, AML Procedures and Compliance Regulatory manuals).

Branch Management: Support all major Branch committee activities.

New Product Development Commitee: Coordinate new product committee activities, develop new product descriptions being proposed for Branch. Knowledge of capital markets products: swaps, FX, money markets.

Conflict Policy: Expertise in conflict management related to Branch lending.

Training: Ensure staff is trained on pertinent laws/regulatios on a regular basis. Maintain compliance training log.

Keep up to date with relevant regulations and laws that affect US business.
