Morgan Stanley opening in Stamford, bringing jobs
Morgan Stanley's Global Wealth Management Group has chosen downtown Stamford for the regional headquarters of its Fairfield County operations.
In July, the Morgan Stanley unit plans to open what it calls the parent branch of its Fairfield County Complex in 13,000 square feet of office space at 4 Landmark Square.
Shamus O'Rourke, manager of the group's Fairfield County Complex, said the Stamford office will open with 30 to 35 employees. He projected it will grow to 53 workers, including 33 financial advisers, by the middle of next year.
