Manages Cash Confirmations Group staff, including: the distribution of work, training of staff and other personnel issues. Responsible for the streamlining of business processes for the cash batching and confirmation process.
Compiles cash flow data from various sources, including computer system (AS400), invoices, hedge reports and phone confirmations with counterparties; serves as a liaison to gather additional data from various internal departments (Finance, Credit) and locations.
Performs analysis of cash flow data through practical analytical techniques (matching, comparing, monitoring numbers); converts data and analysis into an effective format; creates formatted reports; submits reports to management and traders to facilitate profit maximizing decisions made in regards to cash flow and trade processes
Estimates projected receivables/payables from phone confirmations, invoice data and further analysis; communicates estimate to Finance Department to facilitate calculations of the current and forward cash needs
