Staffing and Recruiting Specialist Needed: Peoples United Bank in Bridgeport

This position is responsible for recruiting and selecting additional and replacement staff for exempt and non-exempt positions from internal and external sources. In addition, this position conducts new hire orientation.

Responsiblities:

*

Uses discretion to determine if candidate applications and resumes should be forwarded on to management.
*

Interviews internal and external applicants and notifies applicants of consideration or rejection.
*

Interacts with management to determine desired skill set and staffing needs. Communicates compensation packages to hiring managers.
*

Informs candidates of all aspects of position, including job requirements, compensation and benefits.
*

Extends job offers, initiates background checks and ensures completion of new hire paperwork.
*

Applies recruiting and hiring practices that are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures throughout the hiring process from pre-screening through post-employment.
*

Tracks, monitors and updates monthly staffing analysis.
*

Conducts and facilitates new hire orientation.
