Diocese of Bridgeport seeks Financial Analyst
§ Manage accounting for medical, property/casualty/liability, workers compensation and vehicle insurance programs. Analyze and compile data to create billing files and record all applicable transactions to the General Ledger. Analyze information provided by insurance advisors to record self insured IBNR year end liability amounts. § Analyze and compile salary data to create billing files for pension plans. Record appropriate journal entries and reconcile accounts receivable aging reports to general ledger. § Reconcile investment accounts on a monthly basis and record all appropriate entries into general ledger. Create master balancing spreadsheet for investments and cash accounts for year end reporting. § Directly involved with year end closing, preparing analyses requested by auditors, reconciliation assistance with all balance sheet accounts and other support as needed.
