Louis Dreyfus Corporation Seeking Financial Analyst: Wilton, CT
Louis Dreyfus Corporation, a privately held firm involved primarily in the international trading and merchandising of agricultural commodities, biofuels and metals, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our North American headquarters in Wilton, CT. You will perform a variety of accounting functions, including assisting in the preparation of consolidated US GAAP and IFRS financial statements, financial and management reports, consolidations, profit and loss calculations, budgets and general ledger account analysis. Some of the responsibilities include:
• Gathering and analyzing data to assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements; assisting in preparation of reports for management summarizing monthly operational profitability and activity.
• Involved with the inter-company reconciliation functions to ensure efficient and accurate identification and resolution of soft commodity trade and non-trade transactions with Company affiliates.
• Assisting in preparation of quarterly financials in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); assisting in preparation of quarterly financials in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Assisting in the yearly budget and budget re-forecast for the North American region.
• Performing analysis of business metrics including, but not limited to, budget vs. actual, inventory management, A/R, A/P and business segmentation information; prepares reports for management.
