This position contributes to project teams which analyze business processes and evaluate information system requirements, and where appropriate, coordinates process re-engineering efforts which include the implementation of information system solutions for a diversified international commodities trading firm.
Collaborates with end users and management to identify business system needs, to evaluate solutions to business problems/bottlenecks and to evaluate alternate methods to increase efficiencies and improve controls. Daily 45%
Identifies industry wide best practices; analyzes information system requirements; collaborates with Information Technology development personnel to review options; prepares proposals for new/upgraded systems; translates concepts to users; develops an overall project plan and implementation schedule through consultations with project team, management, employees and external consultants; modifies plans after presentation to user group, if necessary. Daily 20%
