Trans-Lux Corporation, an industry leader in the manufacture of electronic displays, is currently seeking a Collections Specialist for its Norwalk, Connecticut location. This position reports to the Vice-President of Customer Relations and will be responsible for telephone collections and written correspondence on past due accounts, as well as the preparation of weekly status reports on collection activity.

Essential Job Functions:
* Places collection calls to customers
* Performs related follow up activities such as reconciliation, credit adjustments, bad debt write-offs, refunds, customer notification and other transactions
* Produces various financial/accounting reports according to standard company policies and procedures
