Accountabilities
* Manage the technical deliverables of a worldwide supplier network. Develop management systems and measurement programs to meet program specifications and performance against technical objectives.
* Support the development of global commodity strategies that leverage industry best practices and emerging technologies.
* Lead a global procurement team in supporting the development and launch of new programs and product offerings. Manage procurement investments against financial authorizations and achieve technical deliverables.
* Support supplier evaluation and selection. Manage supplier qualification and certification programs.
* Ensure compliance to department operating procedures.
* Manage conformance to design and performance specifications. Drive failure analysis functions and manage implementation of short term and long term countermeasures and corrective actions.
* Promote a high-performance culture. Build organizational strength by staffing the organization with talented professionals and deploying leading education/training and career development for technical professionals.
* Demonstrate compliance against applicable technical standards and regulations. Support internal and external assessments of our business processes and governance programs.
