The Job:Þ Global management of:Ø production (operating efficiency), Ø inventory levels (turns, backorders), Ø shipping (order throughput times),Ø quality control (customer satisfaction, ISO)Ø operations organizational structureØ Facility management (maintenance, rental, operations costs, new construction)Þ Annual planning of operations in each operating unit UK, GmbH, UE, Ø JU to manager India, Brazil until operations are large enough to turn over Ø cost of goods,Ø labor costsØ manufacturing overheadØ manufacturing investment - (production tooling, automation) Ø annual global operations plan - writtenÞ Production allocation and relocation management world wideÞ Global purchasing, sourcing (R&D Support) and vendor managementÞ Visiting of local sites for control and planning – 2 x min per year GmbH & UK, 1 x per year Brazil.Þ
