Assistant Event Manager, Conferences Needed in Norwalk CT
Assistant Event Manager will work closely with the Event Manager to help support and manage a busy portfolio of more than 10 annual conference, events and awards programs: - Handle conference content management: speaker liaison, program development including original research, and all on-site management of speakers. - Manage incoming communication and customer service for all awards programs, including extensive phone and email volume. - Assist in coordinating the direct mail and marketing campaigns for events and awards programs. - Assist with the production of all conference-related materials, including programs/brochures, signage, trophies, PowerPoint, media and web and editorial coverage. - Assist with general event management duties, including, sponsor fulfillment, and event operations needs.- Assist with on-site operations at all live events. Develop a complex understanding of our events and markets.
