Responsible for managing daily treasury functions for leading commodity merchant and hedge fund.
Key duties include:
„X Managing team of 3-4 individuals to handle daily cash flow operations including bank borrowings, receipts and disbursements. Will involve deep interaction with finance, operations and credit department on a regular basis to determine cash flow forecasts and optimal funding structures.
„X Investing large cash balances for hedge fund and merchant. Will involve daily analysis of money market investment opportunities.
„X Hedging firm¡¦s interest rate exposure. Will involve regular analysis of firm¡¦s interest rate exposures arising from its trading portfolio.
„X Hedging foreign exchange exposure for firm¡¦s growing international operations. Will involve regular analysis of cash flows generated in multiple currencies.
„X Maintaining 20+ bank relationships with the CFO and Treasurer.
„X Managing reporting requirements for bank covenant compliance.
„X Working with IT group to continually improve treasury systems capabilities and optimize operations.
„X Assist in general corporate financial matters including financings, acquisitions, business development, budgeting and other projects.
