Summary: Perform diversified duties to organize and conduct therapeutic recreation activities.
Essential Responsibilities:Organize and carryout appropriate group activities and one-to-one sessions to enhance sensory motor, cognitive and psychosocial skills. Complete documentation of resident/patient assessment, progress notes, attendance MED A documentation, and discharge summaries in compliance with State and Federal regulations. Input MDS/care plan data and attend RCP meetings.Transport resident to and from scheduled activity area. Prepare activity area.Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies and notify Director of needs. Drive JHE vehicles as required for outings; attend and participate in a variety of staff meetings.
